Sacred Architecture

Sacral (sacred) architecture is a religious architectural practice concerned with the design and construction of places of worship or sacred or intentional space.

Discussions of sacred architecture often revolve around the concept of beauty and its theological dimension. Despite the fact I do not believe in religion, I honor and value these places, no matter what beliefs they stand for.

The photographs in this series were taken at the following locations: Grand Sultan-Qabus-Mosque (Muscat,Oman), Mohammed Al Ameen Mosque (Muscat, Oman), Parochialchurch (Berlin, Germany) and the St. Marienkirche (Berlin, Germany).
